In plain terms: TRADIZI is a business management app for Nigerian traders. We collect only what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. Your business records belong to you.
1. Who We Are
TRADIZI is developed and operated by ZimTrix Technologies LTD, a technology company based in Lagos, Nigeria. References to "TRADIZI", "we", "our", or "us" refer to ZimTrix Technologies LTD.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the TRADIZI service:
- Account information — your name, phone number, and email address (if provided) when you register
- Business data — products, sales records, stock levels, customer names, and debt records you enter into the app
- Device information — app version, device model, and Android version for crash reporting
- Usage data — crash logs and error reports to help us improve the app
We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, or microphone data unless you explicitly use those features within the app.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the TRADIZI service
- To sync your business data securely across multiple devices
- To send debt reminder and daily report notifications (which you can disable in Settings)
- To diagnose and fix app crashes and errors
- To contact you about important service updates
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. How We Store Your Data
- On your device — all business data is stored locally using SQLite. The app works fully offline.
- In the cloud — your data is securely synced to Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) for backup and multi-device access. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Device backups — local app data is excluded from Android system cloud backups to protect your business information.
5. Data Security
- Your PIN is never stored in plain text — it is hashed using SHA-256 with an application-specific salt before storage
- All communication with our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Access to your business data is restricted — only you and your authorised staff can access your data
- We do not have access to your PIN at any time
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure each business can only access its own data on our servers
6. Data Sharing
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Supabase — our cloud database and authentication provider (AWS-hosted)
- Crash reporting — anonymised crash logs reviewed by our development team to fix bugs
- Legal requirements — if required by Nigerian law or a valid legal order
We do not share your business data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
7. Your Rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your business data
- Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at zimtrixtradizi@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, your cloud-stored data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days of verification. Locally stored data on your device must be cleared separately by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.
9. Children's Privacy
TRADIZI is a business application intended for adults aged 18 and above. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes through the TRADIZI app and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of TRADIZI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
